TreeBase is a software program, designed to make and manage a hierarchical text-database. It is build like a tree: a main branch, separate (numerous) following branches until you reach the end leaf: your required information. Such a tree-structure can be found on your disk-system, too but Treebase holds the information in one (quite small) file.
